Published in commemoration of the landmark 1975 catalogue of the collection of Connecticut Coppers in the Pine Tree Auction Company’s EAC sale, author Randall Clark’s volume traces the history of the collection itself, the principals involved, and the contemporary response to the sale. Most importantly, he then tracks the coins sold in the sale, providing provenance information where available. Photographs are taken either from modern color images (where available) or from the original photographs from which the EAC catalogue halftones were printed, and so are substantial improvements over the 1975 images. Only 60 copies will be printed.
