Gentlemen, how is the collaboration going for you both now for almost six months?
Alfonso: Since we began sponsoring LALIGA, we have seen our brand metrics skyrocket – the first indicator we have that the partnership is working. Our agreement with LALIGA is about ensuring that we catalyze our brand and public awareness in a better way. And that is why we believe that this partnership will be crucial for us in Latin America in the coming years.
At the press conference I reiterated that we want to do things bigger and better, and that fully applies to Latin America. We are here to stay – not just to test the waters – and this agreement with LALIGA is a long-term partnership.
Javier: The partnership is of course still a work in progress, but we are clear that this is the right partnership for this journey. It’s not easy to find partners like Exness, who operate in a win-more-win-more manner, and this framework is entirely collaborative. I’m really looking forward to the coming months.
What unexpected benefits have come from the partnership?
Alfonso: This is a partnership aimed at taking our brand to the next level. Earlier this year we launched ‘The Exo’ and the company’s new brand image, and we saw this realignment of our brand platform in the right direction being reflected in commercial figures. What we are seeing now is the same thing happening with LALIGA.
From day one, we saw an improvement in the share of search results and top-of-mind awareness of customers connected to our brand.
And for me this is just the beginning. I believe that as we continue to activate the partnership and integrate assets like the LALIGA brand into our own, we will see even greater brand awareness. So yes, I am extremely happy with the partnership.
Javier: We are learning a lot about the fintech industry. We’ve said before that we believe partners should be a transformative force for us, and we clearly see Exness bringing real innovation to the equation.
For us, it is super healthy to understand other industries and how we can contribute to achieving our shared goals.
This event is sure to be the start of some pretty big activities between your two groups. What can we expect this season?
Alfonso: We want to do it bigger and better. We want to continue building our brand’s credibility and awareness on a global and local level.
If we look at Latin America, it is a region with very interesting consumer behavior. Here the consumer has a very clear DNA, focused on investments coupled with a very great interest in technology and innovation.
This means that all activities we undertake over the next twelve months will be focused on the partnership and collaboration with LALIGA.
It is very important to listen to the consumer, understand them and understand their needs. And then in the next step, to understand how we can fulfill these needs with, for example, LALIGA content.
Javier: We see that there are synergies between the trading community and the football community, so we want to make sure we connect the two and get our product out there.
One of the pillars will be digital content, looking at how we can really raise some eyebrows through access to players and clubs.
Alfonso, Latin America is practically a second home for LALIGA, but Exness is still relatively new to the region. What are your ambitions for LatAm, and what do you hope to achieve with today’s event?
Alfonso: We are here for the long term. Our goal is to become the broker of choice for the Latin American community, and we are taking thoughtful steps at several levels to achieve this vision.
Our primary focus is on continuous improvement. We strive to provide excellent trading conditions that meet the needs of our customers. We have recently enhanced our offering, especially for gold trading, to provide great value to our customers. We are proud of our reliable platform and the range of features we have developed to support traders in fine-tuning their strategies
Our goal is to provide an environment that our customers choose above all others. We set the bar very, very high.
We are here to ensure that traders in Latin America know us and that we are their first choice.
Javier, football fans are used to seeing connections with sports brands and soft drinks, but a trading company is something new, right?
Javier: Yes, it is. We have had some experience with cryptocurrency companies and other similar companies in the past, and we are working with EA as a title sponsor.
First of all, we think it is very healthy to have such a mix of partners in our ecosystem.
We’re a multi-target company, a multi-cultural company and a multi-engagement company, so I really believe Exness can help us fuel that ecosystem in a different way, by tapping into a fan base that we haven’t yet connected with .
I can’t end this interview without asking both of you: which LALIGA teams do you support?
Alfonso: I support Deportivo La Coruña, but I have been a big fan of Real Madrid since I was a child. Unfortunately, Deportivo La Coruña is now in the second division, but we were almost in the third division. Deportivo La Coruña was something big, it was in the semi-finals of the Champions League and I remember watching the match against Mourinho at the time, when they won! But certainly, Real Madrid is in my heart, I am a big supporter.
Javier: Well, you know we’re owned by 42 clubs [laughter]so we really support every team in LALIGA. Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are two of the best teams in the world, so we really expect a great match today.
Alfonso, Javier, thank you very much for your time today.
